Hello everyone and welcome to the second edition of I REVIEW THIS MAN’S DATING PROFILE CUZ YOU GUYS NEED MY HELP. I had a fabulous time reviewing and updating Wyatt’s profile a few weeks ago and teaching you all about the Scary Photo Phenomenon and how to elevate your prompts. Let’s make this a regular series.

If you’d like your own profile reviewed, shoot me a DM with screenshots of your dating profile, extra photos for consideration, as well as a little about you and what you are looking for in dating! Then we can workshop your dating profile together and share the feedback and results here :)

Today we are looking at the wonderful Ryan’s Hinge profile. If you like what you see and want to hit him up (which you should, he’s a good man Savannah!) slide into his Substack DM’s here!

Now let’s dive into this workshop sesh <3

MEET RYAN!

He’s a 24-year-old who’s living in Long Island and moving to NYC in July! You can catch him at the movie theater at least once a week (relatable), as well as lots of baseball games and concerts (he’s cultured lowkey!). He has a real job—don’t worry—working as a marketing & PR coordinator for an architecture and interior design firm. How cool!

As for Ryan’s dating goals, he said, “I’m looking for someone who is adventurous and loves to go out and enjoy life, who likes to have some drinks and see a cover band on a Saturday night.” Love this for him and his future girlfriend! Let’s take a look at where Ryan’s Hinge started.

THE BEFORE

Welcome to Ryan’s Hinge profile! Off the bat, I think his profile is totally solid with fun prompts (obsessed with him being a Sabrina Carpenter fan). But after getting to know Ryan and seeing more photos of him, I definitely don’t think this prof is doing him justice. Let’s map out the feedback I suggested to exude confidence, give a clear sense of who he is, and encourage more conversation:
